HOW WE HELP

AI Consultancy, Governance, Automation, Training and Literacy

Navigating the complex world of Artificial Intelligence is a challenge for every company. We’re here to help you do so safely and compliantly, so you can enjoy the journey and reap the full benefits of AI – including intelligent automation that drives meaningful results.

Our AI Consulting Services focus on supporting the governance, risk management and compliance of human-centric AI implementations. Put simply, we offer guidance on AI product selection, ethical principles, process automation, intelligent workflows, and sustainability – all whilst ensuring your company is aligning with current legislation and regulation.

On-line training and skills development is offered through our Academy and backed by human-led workshops and keynotes. These foster good industry practices for safe, secure and effective AI and automation adoption. A key focus is building AI literacy across all levels of your organisation – equipping your team with the knowledge and confidence to understand, evaluate, and interact with technologies such as machine learning, robotic process automation (RPA), and AI-driven decision support systems.

Aligning with your organisation’s specific goals and challenges, we tailor our approach to suit you. Whether you’re looking to overcome obstacles, streamline operations, or integrate intelligent automation into existing systems, we draw upon our expertise to support and guide you on your AI journey.

OUR KIND OF PROJECTS

Examples of our work
IT, Legal and Commercial Policy and Contract Reviews

IT, Legal and Commercial Policy and Contract Reviews

We supported the uplift of all relevant documentation as our global research client adopted and implemented their AI strategy. This included reviewing and updating policies, procedures, governance frameworks, and technical documentation to ensure alignment with AI-specific requirements. These solid foundations positioned the organisation to operate with confidence, enabling it to meet regulatory obligations, demonstrate accountability, and protect its reputation in a rapidly evolving technological and legislative landscape.

AI Literacy Course

AI Literacy Course

Following the launch of the EU AI Act with its strict regulations for businesses operating in the EU, we've created our AI Literacy course! This online, self-paced program equips both businesses and employees with a clear understanding of their legal and ethical responsibilities when using AI. This course will ensure that you not only stay compliant, but are able to leverage the advantages of AI to stay ahead of your competition.

Security Posture Assessment

Security Posture Assessment

We undertook a review of Microsoft CoPilot on behalf of our medical research client, incorporating a security posture review of CoPilot with their use case to ensure correct configuration, licensing, model training, data security and access controls. This was completed using Kompela's weighted risk-based security posture analysis template, which provided a RAG status and overarching 'safe-to-use' score.

WHAT OTHERS SAY

Don’t just take our word for it ...

Kompela’s workshop has changed the way we think about AI. As well as humorously taking us back in time, Nick expertly led an interactive and engaging group discussion around the risks and opportunities presented by AI. Hyphen are excited to be working alongside Kompela to maximise the potential of AI, whilst being compliant with legislation and regulation, such as the EU AI Act.

My key take away from the workshop is to exercise caution when using AI but the potential is phenomenal!

If we decide to go ahead and implement AI for this use case, it is a comfort that thanks to Kompela’s Security Posture Assessment, it would be with confidence, knowing its use would not compromise confidential data or our regulatory obligations.

Kompela’s AI Literacy course has prompted us to review how Mon Bijoux use AI. The content is very useful, informative and easy to navigate.

I found it very informative, whilst also being easy to understand. It was very clear to see how certain sections related to the work we do. In a good way, it identified questions that I still need answering, so it made me think about what we do and what we should be doing.

AI Literacy – EU AI Act Course … Clear, well written. I liked the different engagement points with different ways to test your knowledge. Liked the panel on the left where you could see in % terms and by scrolling down, how far you were through the course.
